We collect: Email address (used to create and authenticate your account via one-time passcode), Name (optionally provided in your profile), Asset data (sites, areas, PLCs, components, and any other records you create within the app), Photos (only when you explicitly choose to attach a photo to a component record).
We do not collect location data, usage analytics, or device identifiers beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service.
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Automation Asset Manager service. Specifically: to authenticate you and maintain your account; to store and retrieve the asset records you create; to allow you to access your data across devices.
We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your asset records for advertising or profiling purposes.
Your data is stored securely on our servers using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to stored data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Asset records are stored in a PostgreSQL database, isolated per user account. No other user can access your data.
The app may request access to your device camera or photo library. This permission is only used when you choose to attach a photo to a component record.
Photos are uploaded to our secure storage only when you explicitly confirm the action. We do not access your camera or photo library in the background.
Automation Asset Manager offers an optional app-lock feature using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system. We never receive, store, or transmit any biometric data. Your face or fingerprint data never leaves your device.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and all associated asset records will be permanently removed from our servers.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app's account settings.
You have the right to: Access (view all data associated with your account within the app); Correction (edit or update any records you have created); Deletion (delete individual records or your entire account from within the app).
These actions can all be performed directly from within the app without needing to contact us.
